CRYP002 is a long-awaited analog techno trip from Polyol, none other than Adam Gahan, an original member of the Cryptic crew since day one, having played many a live set for our radio shows on Melodic Distraction, at various parties and 'selector's socials' in 3B Records (before it's recent closure).
The four-track EP cycles through elements of acid house, bleep 'n' bass, and electro, whilst maintaining an almost psychedelic sensibility - all made on his own custom analog synth and sampler setup, a lot of which he built himself. 'Red Lines' in particular has been very sought-after unreleased tune for quite some time, and we're very pleased to put this out as our second label release.
Being our resident visual projection wizard here at Keep It Cryptic, Adam has already made a name for himself under the moniker 'Lofi Future', in which he bends circuits to create insanely trippy visuals using his self-built analog experimental video effects hardware - incorporating PS2 game graphics, old camcorders, and audio-reactive routing. He has supplied visuals for us at every single one of our parties so far and has played very important part in the development of Keep It Cryptic.
He has recently launched his handmade visual hardware unit, the T-420, which has seen a lot of success over the past year! If you're interested, check his site:

We expect more amazing things from the one like Polyol, and are thilled to have him on our label roster. Can't wait to hear what's next...
